‘You’re Being Reported’: California Karen Screams at Fuel Tank Driver for ‘Blocking’ Her Exit, Then Video Shows the Way Out She Somehow Missed
A fuel tanker driver delivering oil at a gas station in Sonoma County, California, was stunned after a wildly dramatic Karen threatened to report him for getting in her way.
The unidentified white woman, wearing a baseball cap in the now-viral video posted to Threads on Sept. 18, hopped out of her car to fume at a truck driver for momentarily inconveniencing her.
The man’s alleged crime? His rig blocked one exit of a Chevron station as he was delivering fuel. As seen in the video, however, the woman and her male companion, who was driving, could have easily pulled a U-turn and exited another way.
The driver calmly told her he was “just here to do my job,” but she kept pushing.
“You can do your f–king job better. Not that hard,” she screamed. “You’re being reported, you f–king c–t.”
Her male companion also got out of the car, and many people on social media couldn’t help but weigh in on his demeanor. Some noted that he also seemed stunned, joking, “Blink twice if you’re okay.” But a few pushed back, saying he walked up to the truck driver and took “a stance meant to intimidate.”
The woman eventually summoned him back to the car, screaming, “c’mon David, we have to go! I want to go see my God kids. This is bulls–t.”
As they finally left, making the obvious U-turn, the woman enacted a bizarre pantomime from behind the windshield, flipping off the worker, shrieking curse words, grimacing, and even waving.
The video’s caption simply read, “This woman doesn’t understand how oil delivery works.” But social media commenters had so much more to say.
“No coping skills,” exclaimed one person on Threads.
“She has a crash out over this when she can literally turn around and go the other way,” wrote another. “People aren’t going to stop providing stuff to stores simply because of you.”
Another added, “Whenever I’ve been at a gas station that’s been getting a delivery, I just maneuver my way around the truck. Common sense!”
Many of the viewers said they would be mortified to see someone treat a truck driver this way after a long haul, calling the video a prime example of entitlement.
As one put it: “I instinctively understand the giant gas delivery truck is more important than me in this situation.” Another added, “It took her longer to complain about not being able to leave than it did for David to simply leave.”
