Kim Kardashian and Kanye West show up to support daughter North West at her first solo concert
The former couple put aside their differences to cheer on their 13-year-old daughter North West as she took the stage for her first solo headlining concert in Chicago.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West put their differences aside and appeared at their daughter North West’s first solo headlining concert in Chicago on September 5. The former couple watched from separate sections of The Vic Theatre as their 13-year-old daughter took the stage.
According to Yahoo News, North performed at the sold-out Chicago show following the release of her debut EP, “N0rth4evr.” The event follows her music-festival debut earlier this year and previous performances with her father. Videos from the event showed Kanye recording his daughter’s performance from one balcony while Kim watched and cheered from another area.
The concert comes after North’s planned Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana was canceled in August.
Kardashian and West finalized their divorce in November 2022 after filing for divorce in 2021. They have four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
Their appearance at North’s concert offered a glimpse of the former couple navigating co-parenting while supporting their daughter’s ambitions. For North, the night was less about her parents’ history and more about stepping into the spotlight on her own.
