Marlo Hampton, who became a full-time peach holder on season 14 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is stirring up a bit of controversy for what show fans see as coming for series veteran Kandi Burruss. During a recent appearance on the “Reality with The King” podcast, Hampton blasted Burruss for not doing anything “for the Black culture.”

The reality star said Burruss should stop talking about sex on “RHOA” and be more concerned with teaching others how to contribute to a play or how to open a restaurant.

“Do some sh-t for the Black culture,” said Hampton. “We got enough babies and diseases out here. We don’t need no sheriffs about sex Kandi. You f—-ed out of Atlanta.”

The Neighborhood Talk ran into Burruss after the premiere of Jussie Smollett’s Broadway play “B-Boy Blues” on Wednesday, June 9, to enlighten her about Hampton’s comments.

“She be so fake to me,” Buruss said, noting that Hampton recently invited the entire “RHOA” cast to an event for her business. She said she was one of two ‘Housewives’ who responded to the mass text, saying she would come.

“She gets on my m———n nerves,” said the Grammy-winning singer. “I’m tired of her b——t. She’s fake as f–k. If y’all do not know, I have been doing way more for the community than all of them. I don’t mind saying it.”

The “RHOA” OG supports her community by paying students’ college tuition and hosting local food drives, where she says Hampton showed up to “help.” She also owns several thriving businesses in Black communities, which helps increase job opportunities.

“What she doing?,” asked the co-owner of the Old Lady Gang restaurant about Hampton’s community involvement.

The 46-year-old entrepreneur admitted she’s helped plenty of people, including Hampton, who previously appeared on “RHOA” as a friend of Nene Leakes. She also claims Hampton missed out on “the opportunity” to have her own show at a different network.

“But it’s facts,” she exclaimed. “I got her a show on a whole other network when she needed help, and she wants to get over here and show her m——–n a–. She’s getting on my nerves.”

Burruss was visibly irritated by Hampton’s remarks, which led to fans in the comments section having a debate about the two “RHOA” stars. One person wrote, “You know Kandi is PISSED when her voice starts shaking…Marlo better watch out. I’m Tam Kandi on this one lol. #RHOA.”

Another who mentioned her songwriting credits said, “Kandi wrote ‘No Scrubs,’ ‘Bills, Bills, Bills,’ and ‘Bug-A-Boo’… I call that doing enough for the culture, hell.”

A small handful came to Hampton’s defense, stating, “Y’all stop hypin’ up Kandi…she can’t go against Marlo war of words.” Another said, “Marlo has a speech impediment. She can’t go to war with my 2-year-old niece.”

Hampton previously discussed having her own show on Burruss’ “Speak On It” YouTube series in May 2021. She revealed that Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, landed her a show called “Hotlanta” at another network following a fallout with Leakes. The show was picked up by WE tv and ultimately was scrapped before filming.
