‘This Was Scarily Accurate for Both’: Fans Want More of Monica After She Bodies Her Impersonations of Toya Johnson and Tiny Harris
Monica Denise Brown is showing her fans just how well she knows her friends Toya Johnson and Tiny Harris. While on Instagram Live on Jan. 20, one of her friends asked her if she could talk like Toya.
In her Toya voice she said, “Mo’, you gots to meet people where they at, girl. I have all kinds of friends, friends from different places, friends that I know I can trust. Like D, that’s my b-tch.”
Someone else asked Monica if she could do a voice like Tiny’s and she said yes. She said, “What you gon’ do? I just asked you did you want to come —” before cutting herself off and laughing.
Monica had fans cracking up laughing and commenting on her accurate portrayal of her friends.
One person wrote, “This was scarily accurate for both and I’m jealous because she got the New Orleans accent down when I sound a hot mess doing it .”
Someone else quipped, “If my friends can’t imitate me like this I don’t want them .”
Fans suggested that Monica be put on the big screen with her skills. One said, “Yoooooo Monica low key can act for real for real!!!,” and actor and social media comedian Kwaylon Rogers wrote, “Thought this was a TikTok voiceover @tylerperry put Monica on have & have nots! Sis can act!!”
Although she’s known more for being on reality TV shows, Monica has done some film roles. She had a role as a waitress in the hit movie “ATL” starring T.I. Harris, and Lauren London. She’s also been in movies like “Pastor Brown” and “Love Song.”
But as of late fans of the “Angel of Mine” singer have been able to get a glimpse of her personal life on the small screen with Toya and her family, Tiny and T.I. and their family, as well as LeToya Luckett and her family, on the VH1 series “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Grand Hustle,” which wrapped its third season last year.
