Teyana Taylor has pulled a major prank on her fans. After fans have begged the singer and dancer for her and her husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert, to join in on the “Silhouette” challenge,Taylor has finally delivered, but not in the way that fans had hoped.

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, Taylor tweeted, “Y’all been blowing my mentions up about me & Shump doing damn challenge so i thought I’d take stab at it! #silhouttechallenge AUNTEY don’t have a TikTok so i did it on my niece account! Bear wit me! Lol 😩.”

But Taylor’s followers were disappointed after realizing they were scammed by the “Bare Wit Me” singer, because the Instagram link led to an unavailable page.

A few minutes later she tweeted another message to her fans, writing, “Ight y’all 4real this time lol I posted my silhouette challenge on my IG stories! Check it out! 💋.”

Hopeful that she had recorded and posted the challenge this time, fans were saddened to learn they had been bamboozled once again. The video started with Taylor hitting different poses in a black-and-white filter, but when it was time for her to change to the silhouette, it ended up being her older daughter, 5-year-old Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., aka “Junie,” coming on camera with the red background saying, “Hey, y’all, this my baby mama. And then peace out.”

Fans responded to Taylor’s video, seemingly hurt that she did not actually do it.

One person wrote, “I was really ready for her to EAT IT UP! 😩

Someone else said “She dead wrong,” while another wrote, “Lmfaooo damnit! Thought I was gonna see something 😭.”

“Ion even play that, i’m finna block y’all,” wrote an angry fan.

Some fans could do nothing but laugh after seeing Taylor and Shumpert’s daughter come on camera. The two parents wed in 2016 and have a second daughter named Rue Rose, whom Taylor gave birth to last September.
