‘Rihanna Dropped Draya for Making Inappropriate Abuse Jokes’: Rihanna Slammed After Reportedly Including Johnny Depp In Fashion Show
Everyone’s favorite bad girl Rihanna has received bad backlash after TMZ reported that the billionaire included actor Johnny Depp in her Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 Show as a surprise appearance.
TMZ reported, “Our sources say Rihanna and her team invited Johnny to be a part of it, and both sides were super excited to make it happen. We’re told Johnny has already filmed his part, and it’ll be included in the show’s premiere…”

If TMZ’s report is correct, this would mean that Depp will make history in becoming the very first male model for Riri’s Savage X Fenty show.
Once the news made its way onto the internet, mixed feelings began to form among fans who were invested in Depp’s recent drama with ex-wife Amber Heard involving allegations of violence from both sides.
“The Johnny Depp propaganda is so insane cause EVEN ignoring the whole abuse case he been a terrible person n extremely racist and misogynistic… crazy.”
Depp and Heard made headlines in April once their public defamation trial kicked off. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor took his “The Rum Diary” co-star to court for defamation after Heard wrote an editorial piece for “The Washington Post,” where she described being a domestic abuse survivor.
Although Heard never mentioned Depp by name, allegations flew his way and cost him career opportunities such as Grindelwald in “Fantastic Beasts.”
After six long weeks, the jury ruled in favor of Depp, and Heard was ordered to pay her ex-husband “$10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages in his defamation lawsuit,” according to NBC News.
Some fans even brought up the “Wild Thoughts” singer removing former “Basketball Wives” star Draya Michele’s Savage X Fenty Endorsement as a result of a domestic violence joke she made about Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion’s alleged claim that rapper Tory Lanez shot her in the foot.
“Rihanna dropped Draya for her insensitive comments about DV relationships (the right thing to do) but a yt man caught on tape abusing his ex-wife and then gaslighting her in court is getting his own segment on her Savage Fenty show ??? Okay sis”
“Rihanna dropped Draya for making inappropriate abuse jokes but is giving Johnny Depp (an abusive piece of s–t) a segment on her show. What even is the correlation??”
In 2020, Michele was on an episode of the “Weed and Wine” podcast and decided to speak on the incident.
“I predict that they had some sort of Bobby and Whitney love that, you know, drove them down this snapped-esque type of road. And I’m here for it. I like that. I want you to like me so much that you shoot me in the foot too” Draya said.
It wasn’t long before Michele received flak for making an insensitive comment about a very serious event. Once Rihanna and her team were made aware of this, the lingerie company quickly unfollowed the model on Instagram, severing all ties with her.
While many are not in favor of Rihanna’s decision in adding Depp to her show, some fans have decided to stick beside their Caribbean queen and defend her choice.
“If you think about it, Rihanna – a domestic abuse survivor standing up for Johnny Depp – another domestic abuse survivor – is absolutely heartwarming and beautiful. More power to survivors around the world.”
“People in the comments saying, “Rihanna this isn’t you” like the know her personally. Ffs, she can have whoever she wants in her own show. Johnny Depp proved his innocence and I’m tired of y’all defending a woman who is a proven multiple time abuser. It’s weird.”
Fans can watch Rihanna’s highly anticipated show on Nov. 9 on Amazon Prime Video.
