‘Put It Away’: Taylor Swift Bares All In New Photos But Fans Can’t Stop Talking About What She Did to Her Chest
Taylor Swift is preparing for her big return with a new album and a completely new persona separate from her “Marry Me” days.
The pop-country singer surprised fans with the news on Wednesday, Aug. 13, during her debut appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
Not only did she announce the arrival of her 12th studio album, Swift also released risqué images for the album, which is called “The Life Of A Showgirl.”

Each photo, including the album cover, has an unexpected yet alluring, theatrical and bold vibe, a stark contrast to Swift’s previous covers, which featured more demure looks. The switch suggests that she is stepping into a new era.
On the cover, Swift is seen looking into the camera while submerged in water wearing a crystal-studded outfit. It’s not clear whether the outfit is a dress, a bodysuit or a top because of where the picture is cropped, but the abdomen region had cut-outs that made her skin visible. She wore a rosy pink blush on her cheeks and magenta colored lipstick.
On Kelce’s podcast, Swift explained the meaning behind the cover by pointing to her recently completed tour called The Eras Tour.
“This represents the end of my night,” she said. “My day ends with me in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress, but we try to keep it decent. I wanted to glamorize all the different aspects of how that tour felt and that’s how that felt.”
“The reason why I wanted to have an offstage moment as the main album cover is because this album isn’t really about what happened to me onstage, it’s about what I was going through offstage,” she continued.
Swift continued her showgirl theme in other images, including one of her in a black bodysuit with fishnet tights as she propped her leg up over an audience chair. Her hair was pulled back in the bun and she wore her signature red lipstick.
In another set of photos, she ditched her signature blond hair for a black bob wig, which she paired with a pink feathered ensemble and sat in a boudoir setting drinking wine.
Another pic shows Swift leaning seductively on two chairs in a dark red bodysuit and fishnets with her head tilted back.
Her final look featured another jeweled bustier attached to a sheer bra. Underneath, she wore flesh-colored bikini bottoms with sheer fishnets and body jewelry that had jewels and feathers on it.
Though Swift is showing a more sultry side of herself with this album, many took offense to her new look.
Daily Mail readers responded with their usual troll-filled comments. One person wrote, “I have to say she is pretty but she has never been sexy no matter what she does or wears.”
A few zoomed in to get a closer look at Swift’s attributes. Two said, “She is not that thick” and “Please tell me that big butt is AI because it is too early in the morning to have that sticking in our face.”
Some even wondered if she had plastic surgery recently. “A couple decades into her career, she buys herself boobs and now this is how she is selling her latest albums,” noted one skeptic, while another asked, “But enough about Matty and Travis, did she really get ‘top work’?
A fifth bluntly stated, “Put it away love, you’re no Pamela Anderson!”
Kelce, who has been dating Swift since 2023, let his lady do most of the talking about her project, while he sat grinning and holding the album up. He didn’t mention the photos but instead praised Swift’s upcoming release.
“It’s so much fun,” he said on his podcast. “I’ve been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here so I know they’re all 12 bangers. It’s a lot more upbeat and it’s a lot more like fun pop like excitement.”
He promised listeners that Swift’s “album is going to make you dance.”
