‘Leave Our Kids Alone’: Garcelle Beauvais Blasts ‘RHOBH’ Trolls for Leaving Inappropriate Comments on Her Teenage Son’s Social Media Page and Bringing up Her Oldest Child’s Past Drug Addiction
Garcelle Beauvais has a bone to pick with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” trolls.
The actress took to her social media accounts on Aug. 23 to clap back at those who left inappropriate messages about her family on her 14-year-old son Jax Nillon’s Instagram page as the drama between Beauvais and her “RHOBH” castmates unfolded.
Throughout the season, fans have seen Beauvais’ feud with Lisa Rinna, and Erika Jayne amplify for various reasons. One of the factors included “The Jamie Foxx Show” star clashing with an intoxicated Jayne after she cursed at Beauvais’ son Jax. Following the exchange, Jayne would ultimately blame the alcohol for her unusual behavior.
As Beauvais tried to address Jayne’s possible substance addiction during a recent episode of “RHOBH,” many social media users decided to attack the 55-year-old’s family by bringing up her oldest son Oliver Saunders’ past drug addiction in the comments section of Jax’s Instagram account.
Once aware of what was happening, Beauvais asked the trolls to leave her children out of the situation. In a Twitter post that was also shared on Beauvais’ other social media platforms, she wrote, “I’m usually a very strong woman. I’ve been raised to be strong my life has taught me to be strong, but when it comes to my kids!”
The former “The Real” co-host also opened up about how hurtful the entire experience has been. She added, “It hurts it’s not OK I’ve been in tears all night it’s just a TV show people scream at your TV throw something at your TV but leave our kids alone.”
Following Beauvais’ plea, her “RHOBH” co-star Lisa Rinna offered her support by demanding the trolls not involve the cast’s children in their personal squabbles.
Rinna wrote in a now-deleted Instagram story, “We are doing a tv show. We try to entertain you. Why can’t you treat it like wrestling, for gods sakes, love us, love to hate us? But leave the kids alone!”
She continued, “What I was just sent about @garcelle son is disgusting and unacceptable.” Throughout the post, Rinna shared the attacks other castmates’ children, as well as hers, have faced since signing up for the reality show.
The 59-year-old wrapped up her statement by saying all of the “RHOBH” children “should be off-limits.” She wrote, “The kids, all our kids should be off-limits, so stop it now. Enough is enough.”
Shortly after Beauvais and Rinna’s post, Jax gave his followers a glimpse of the rude comments left on his page by sharing a screen record video with the caption, “I’m a f–king 14-year-old. Leave me alone, please.”
Since then, no additional details regarding this situation have been released.
