Kelly Rowland shares two adorable sons with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon. Their first, Titan, was born in 2014, and baby boy Noah arrived in January 2021. The former Destiny’s Child singer and talent manager are known to share images and videos from their fun-filled family moments on Instagram.

The Texas-bred artist reminisced about her own childhood in an interview with Yahoo Life. She recalls eating lunch at a local spot in Houston after attending church with her family.

“I remember one specific place in Houston called – This Is It Soul Food – where we would go there…have Soul Food Sundays…eat everything under the sun, and be so happy,” she recounted. “Then we’d go for ice cream.”

The busy mom said her schedule is “kind of insane right now” due to filming the sports comedy “Fantasy Football.” Even so, she intends to uphold the same “Soul Food Sundays’” tradition with her sons moving forward.

“I haven’t been able to but right now I actually make pancakes from scratch on Sundays,” said Rowland. “It’s Titan’s favorite thing because he likes these better than the ones I get from the box. Sometimes I like to cheat but he knows now and when he sees all the ingredients out he is so hyped.”

The Grammy Award-winning vocalist said Titan is “reading off the measurements and learning what the ingredients do and asking so many questions.”

“It’s just a beautiful bonding time that I have with my baby,” she added.
