ICE Prosecutor Allegedly Posted ‘America Is A White Nation’ That ‘Should Favor’ White People, And Other Racist Things

In today’s “Water is Still Wet” news, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) prosecutor in Dallas, Texas, has been outed as a loud and proud white supremacist who thinks “America is a white nation,” “all Blacks are foreign,” and “migrants are all criminals,” according to a social media account believed to belong to the agent.
Meet James “Jim” Joseph Rodden, who works as an assistant chief counsel for ICE in the Dallas area.
Rodden has been identified by the Texas Observer and confirmed by federal court records as the man behind the X account GlomarResponder, from which he posted, well, everything one would expect an anti-immigration enthusiast who hates Black people and is probably a MAGA cultist to post.
From the Observer:
Since GlomarResponder was first created in 2012, the account has posted hateful, xenophobic, and pro-fascist content. “America is a White nation, founded by Whites. … Our country should favor us,” GlomarResponder wrote last month. “All blacks are foreign to my people, dumb fuck,” the account posted in September of last year. “Freedom of association hasn’t existed in this country since 1964 at the absolute latest,” GlomarResponder wrote four months prior, further clarifying the post was referring to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in a reply to a comment. “I’m not a commie, I’m a fascist,” GlomarResponder posted a couple weeks later. “Fascists solve communist problems. Get your insults right, retard.”
In August, GlomarResponder posted: “‘Migrants’ are all criminals.” Two months later, GlomarResponder shared an image that reads: “It is our holy duty to guard against the foreign hordes.” Some GlomarResponder posts evoke anti-immigrant violence: “Nobody is proposing feeding migrants into tree shredders,” the account posted in March 2024. “Yet. Give it a few more weeks at this level of invasion, and that will be the moderate position.” And in January: “My WWII vet grandfather didn’t get a chance to kill asians, so he volunteered for Korea. He’d be asking for a short term job with ICE kicking doors and swinging a baton.”
It’s worth noting that when Rodden wrote, “America is a White nation, founded by Whites. We are the historical and majority population, and it was founded for our benefit. Our country should favor us,” it was in response to another X user writing, “For those criticizing the concept of a colorblind meritocracy, you should have the courage to clearly state your preferred alternative – DEI for whites.”
So, basically, as much as a reprehensible racist as Rodden is, he appears to be one of the relatively few white conservatives who will come right out and tell the truth about what the anti-diversity, equity and inclusion movement is really all about.
After all, the same people who advocate for that movement are promoters of the Great Replacement Theory, which, at its core, insists that white people have an apparent right to be the majority race in the U.S. (Not that minorities are treated unfairly in America or anything like that, right?) The theory — which has not only been embraced by conservative citizens, including white supremacist mass shooter Payton Gendron, but is also embraced by elected GOP officials — claims Black and brown immigrants are being flooded into the country to replace white people.
In response to the pro-DEI X user, Rodden didn’t even bother going with the standard white conservative narrative that DEI was allowing unqualified people of color to be hired over qualified white men. Instead, he simply insisted that it was only right that a “white nation” founded by white people “should favor” white people. Seriously, if only they were all that honest.
Anyway, according to the Observer, neither Rodden nor ICE were willing to provide a comment on the allegation that Rodden is, indeed, the man behind the GlomarResponder account, which probably indicates the agency has no plans to boot the abhorrent bigot from its employment. Still, the Observer maintains that the “evidence that Rodden operates the GlomarResponder account includes an overwhelming number of biographical details that GlomarResponder has shared over years that align with information about Rodden, including employment history, locations lived, characteristics of a spouse, involvement in a lawsuit against the federal government, height and fashion preferences, penchants for specific phrasing, and a variety of specific interests and hobbies.”
Of course, if it’s true that Rodden and GlomarResponder are one and the same (and it appears to be pretty clear that they are), it would only mean the ICE prosecutor would fit in perfectly with the current administration, which includes a “border czar” who thinks it’s illegal for immigrants to be informed of their constitutional rights, and an Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs appointee who believes “competent white men must be in charge” of America.
White supremacy is America’s default and that’s what they’re trying to make great again, folks. It’s that simple.
