“Basketball Wives” is coming back to VH1 on Feb. 9 for its ninth season, and guess who’s returning? “BBW” OG Jennifer Williams will make a comeback to the new season. The fashionista took to the ‘Gram to let fans know that they’re in for a ride.

“We are back February 9th on @vh1… Expect the unexpected!” Williams captioned the photo with a popcorn emoji.

While Williams, 46, was serving looks in a silky white tuxedo jacket with furry fringe down the arm, pearl earrings and a red lip, fans were shocked to know she’s returning to the show considering last season’s madness.

“I thought you were through with that TV show.”

“Good luck on that.. that show gives you zero validation for yourself. You are just a pond.”

“You go back after they treated you like crap.”

“Girl, the way they treated you, I would not have come back.”

Last year, it seemed as though Williams and frenemy Evelyn Lozada made amends as Williams was dealing with her mother’s loss.

Lozada even showed up to Williams’ charity event for cancer, as shown on the season-eight series. The two took a photo with other cast members like Malaysia Pargo, but Williams was later cropped out of a picture

Williams was also accused of talking about Lozada’s daughter Shaniece Hairston.

In season eight, Pargo and Shaunie O’ Neal claimed that Williams criticized Lozada’s parenting skills. According to Pargo, Williams said Shaniece was doing “the grown-up … having sex with anybody around Miami” since “forever.” O’Neal echoed those sentiments, saying that Williams said Lozada wasn’t a good mother.

At the reunion, Lozada told Williams she doesn’t know what it feels like to carry a child for nine months and have someone, a “grown a– adult talking about a child.”

Host Marc Lamont Hill asked Williams if she did or did she not talk about Shaniece. “I have said a million times that I did not,” said Williams. In reaction, O’Neal raised her eyebrows, and Lozada didn’t show that she was convinced by Williams’ answer, as she questioned why O’Neal or Pargo would have reason to make up such accusations.

Hill then went on to ask Williams about being cropped out of the edited image that the cast took at Williams’ charity event. “It was classless and petty, and my thing is like listen, if you didn’t want to come or you didn’t want to take a photo, you always have the option to stay home,” Williams first said.

“Did I put the photo out? No. It serves me no justice, and it just shows the level of no respect.”

Lozada told Williams to stop playing the victim, and if she admits to things she has said, they would probably be friends. “Nah, I’m straight,” Williams responded.

As the new season approaches, fans wonder if Wiliams and Lozada will try to make amends yet again. “This year, I’m hoping you and Ev can really put y’all differences aside and REALLY rekindle your friendship like frfr,” one fan wrote to Williams.

One can only speculate what the new season will bring. One thing that is for sure is the list of season-nine cast members: O’Neal, Pargo, Lozada, Jackie Christie, Williams, Kristen Scott, Ogom “OG” Chijindu, Feby Torres and newcomers Liza Morales and Nia and Noria Dorsey.
