Ciara is opening up about her experience with her third pregnancy.

The singer revealed that she had a more difficult time carrying her last child, Win Wilson, at the end of her pregnancy. She said toward the end “it felt like time was going really slow.”

She continued, “My body was so achy I thought I was going to need a cane at the end of my pregnancy, to be honest,” Ciara said. “I was penguin walking throughout the house at the end.”

Although Ciara had her struggles with carrying her now 4-month-old son, she described her time of giving birth to him as “smooth” and “amazing,” mainly due to the help of her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

She announced that she gave birth to her second son in an Instagram video on July 24. In the video, Ciara is lying in the hospital bed, singing happy birthday with her mask on, with her newborn son on her chest.

The “Get Up” singer said the 31-year-old dad was doing “everything” he could to make her time in labor special. She said, “He was a cameraman, making sure the camera was set up right so we could get the angle when the baby comes out. And he actually helped pull Win out near the end, which was really sweet.”

The mother of three said that Wilson also took time to have skin-to-skin contact with his son, which is when babies are placed down on one’s chest when they are first born, and that “it was just very intimate and really full of love, more than anything. So I’m grateful for that.”

Ciara, who just made headlines after wearing her stunning red-and-black high-slit dress and mid-length cornrows on the red carpet for the 2020 American Music Awards, also revealed that the AMAs is special to her because she found out she was pregnant with Win while hosting the 2019 AMAs.

The “Rooted” singer has two other children, Future Zahir Wilburn, 6, whom she had with ex-boyfriend and rapper Future, and 3-year-old Sienna Wilson, the first child for her and Wilson.
