Kandi Burruss took to her YouTube series “Speak on It” on Feb. 21 to express that she disagreed with Kenya Moore‘s investigative behavior during the “Real Housewives of Atlantas” strippergate episode. The reality star shared her statement a day after the infamous program aired.

Burruss decided to address the issue because she felt people inferred that her longtime friendship with Moore would stop her from expressing her true feelings about the former beauty queen going to extreme measures to eliminate possible culprits who allegedly slept with the stripper at Cynthia Bailey‘s bachelorette party.

The Xscape singer said on mark 0:24, “See, I think a lot of people thought that I was gonna shy away from this episode. Because I saw y’all in the comments last week when y’all was sitting up here trying to say that I didn’t want to comment on last week’s episode, that’s why I had Don Juan and A-1 come speak for me. First of all, if y’all ain’t learned nothing about me in this decade that I’ve been on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ you should know that I say how I feel.”

Don Juan, who is the manager for Burruss’ Kandi Koated Entertainment and guest on the show, interrupted the “RHOA” star to explain why people felt that the mother of three wouldn’t condemn Moore for her actions. “That’s where people get it twisted. They’re like they feel that because you’re friends with people that you can’t or won’t say what you feel.”

The 44-year-old agreed and added that that type of thinking is “unfair.” She said on mark 1:15, “I think that is it’s unfair actually, because I see some people who, you know, say stuff like, you know, anytime we say anything that’s in — like, I’ll just use the whole Kenya situation as an example — if I say anything that’s disagreeing with Kenya, then people will be like, ‘Oh, you’re not a real friend to her, blah, blah, blah.’ At the end of the day, she and I are real friends. I love her very much, but obviously last week I disagreed.”

The referenced scene occurred when Moore admitted to her cast members during the Feb. 21 “RHOA” episode that she made her daughter wait 45 minutes for a meal because she heard moaning sounds from a nearby bedroom and wanted to catch those involved in the act. To which Burruss expressed her disapproval and felt that incident should’ve stayed between the alleged parties involved.

As the video continued the reality star also touched on her argument with Moore regarding the fact she brought her daughter Brooklyn Daly without providing an option for the other “RHOA” ladies to bring their children along to the South Carolina trip. Following that argument, the Kenya Moore Hair Care creator claimed she didn’t have anyone to help her with her toddler while undergoing divorce proceedings with her estranged husband Marc Daly.

Burruss said on mark 2:51 that although she understood the circumstances, she felt Moore used them as an excuse to not join in on activity with the other women.

“Going into this trip, I understood that Kenya wanted to bring her daughter because she said she didn’t really know the babysitter. … But that particular night I didn’t feel like she went to her room just because of her child. I felt like she used that as an excuse, because if y’all remember, she had had an argument with Marlo [Hampton] earlier in the evening. So that was my point. I was like, ‘OK, if you bring your daughter on a trip that is fine. I love Brooklyn, and I understand your situation.’”

She added, “But at least have your nanny stay in the room until we finish what we have to do, because it’s not fair if I’m expected to stay down here film, do what I got to do with my kids at home. I can’t use my kids as an excuse, but you’re using your kid as an excuse not to film with us. … That’s how I felt I’m like, you know, it was a frustration.”
