‘I Do What’s Best’: Erica Mena Has a Message for People Who Want to Give Her Advice on Her Marriage
Just days after getting into a heated Twitter argument with her estranged husband, Safaree Samuels, Erica Mena is letting her fans know that she does not need advice about her marriage from them. On March 2, she took to Twitter to tell her followers that she can handle herself and what is going on in her life.
She wrote, “I don’t run to y’all about my marriage issues so please save the engery on giving me advice. I know what’s what. I do what’s best. And if I’m not the best version of myself for whatever reason that isn’t fair to my kids. MY KIDS come before every and anything.”
Fans wrote in the comments to show their support for Mena. One wrote, “Facts! What I am learning is people always have something to say and an opinion and most of them are single! Yall do whats best for you both as individuals, each other, and family! Be blessed .”
Someone else said, “Oh my sis !! You a better person keep your shit on social media about your growth and money and let him continue to figure out what it take to be a real man.”
Mena and Samuels may actually be headed to divorce court this time after Samuels tweeted last week, “I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes, and it will never happen again. I’m walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb s–t. Nobody is worth my freedom!!!”
Mena responded saying, “Since you always run to social media like a little girl I might as well join in. I absolutely agree with you on this. You are the most selfish, vain, and inconsiderate person. And not just with me but your only daughter!”
This is not the first time Samuels has publicly alluded to wanting to end his marriage to the former video vixen, but this is the first time Mena has publicly stated that she agrees with the idea of divorcing.
