Tamron Hall is the latest talk show host to test positive for COVID-19, according to Page Six. the Daytime Emmy Award-winning host informed her staff and production of her diagnosis via email earlier this week. The 51-year-old said “I am following CDC guidelines, staying home, and taking every precaution to ensure everyone’s safety.”

Hall then revealed that her family including her husband, Steven Greener, and their 3-year-old son, Moses, have tested negative.

“Thankfully Moses and my entire family all tested negative,” she shared. “I am devastated, to say the least, but I know we will get through this.”

In light of her diagnosis, the TV personality has been recording “The Tamron Hall Show” from her home in New York. A source told Page Six, “the staff has been rushing wardrobe and equipment from the studio at ABC to her home.”

Hall was also forced to pull out of her co-hosting duties at City Harvest’s 2022 gala with Benjamin Bratt. This week’s interview with “Full House” star Dave Coulier has been switched from in-person to Skype, as is expected for upcoming interviews.

“They’re scrambling to save their big Mother’s Day show. Tamron’s showing no symptoms, and they hope she’ll be back for the Mother’s Day show. They are moving mountains to make it happen.”

“The Tamron Hall Show” debuted in September 2019 on ABC. Her stage has seen a number of guests, including Toni and Tamar Braxton, Bebe and CeCe Winans, Quinta Brunson, T.D. Jakes, Tyler Perry, “RHOA” star Kandi Burruss, and many others.

Another notable talk show host, Wendy Williams, also tested positive for COVID-19 in September 2021. Hall credited herself and Williams as the only Black women and hosts with massive followings and influence across televisions everywhere earlier this year.

“For me, Wendy is another mom. Another woman who created, executive produced and hosted her show,” Hall said during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” that aired on Tuesday, March 22. “Wendy and I are currently the only two Black women who created, executive produced, and solo host daytime shows on right now.”
