‘He Felt Some Other Kind of Way’: ‘RHOA’ Star Cynthia Bailey Reveals Her Husband Mike Hill Wasn’t Too Happy After Watching Bachelorette Party Episode
During her virtual appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Cynthia Bailey discussed how her husband Mike Hill felt when viewing “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” bachelorette party episode on Feb. 28. The reality star told Cohen that the sportscaster felt she left out some details.
Bailey said that her recollection was spotty considering she was under the influence of alcohol at the time. “It was very different, you know. When I came home from the trip, obviously, I had a conversation with Mike. He felt like after watching the episode I wasn’t as forthcoming as I could have been. However, you got to realize you know there was a lot of alcohol involved, so maybe I didn’t remember every single detail.”
She continued, “He definitely felt like some of the things were kind of teetering like inappropriate.”
The model added she didn’t initially know the rules because this was her first bachelorette party. “I mean, you have to realize we’ve been married for four months now at that time. I wasn’t married yet, but I got married like maybe two weeks later. So I had to ask myself, this is my first bachelorette party. I didn’t know what the rules were. Normally when I watch bachelorette parties on movies, the bachelorette is the one doing the most, but I had some help. I had some assistance to help me out in that department, so I felt like I was very appropriate, but he felt some other kind of way about it.”
Many fans expressed that Hill was too hard on Bailey, given the infamous events that allegedly took place during the party with two “RHOA” stars and BOLO, the entertainer.
“Cynthia was the best behaved that night Mike relax.”
“Cynthia was calm.”
“It’s a BACHELORETTE partyyyyy! Mike relax.”
“Cynthia was the most appropriate tho lol.”
“She didn’t do anything compared to some of the other women.”
During the first part of the bachelorette episode aired on Feb. 21, Bailey and the other “RHOA” ladies — including Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Shamea Morton, Marlo Hampton, Tanya Sam, Latoya Ali and Drew Sidora — were seen admiring BOLO, the entertainer, as he performed in his cage.
As the scene transitioned, the women, including Bailey, threw $1 bills at the entertainer during the second act of his performance in the South Carolina rental property. Before the night ended, Burruss taught Bailey how to work a sex swing in case the model wanted to use it on her honeymoon. The rest of the scandalous events didn’t involve Bailey because she headed off to her bedroom earlier than the other women.
Following the bachelorette party last year, rumors began circulating that an alleged threesome took place between Williams, Sam and BOLO. Since then, both BOLO and Sam have denied the allegations. Sam also reportedly left “RHOA” after the scandal broke.
