Trump’s recent mission to steal the spotlight from LIV Golf New York athletes was no different. The event was held at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Trump sat in a chair and posed for a photo with his grandchildren standing beside him. Carolina smiled and clung to her big brother. Eric Luke placed a hand on the back of Trump’s chair and smiled directly at the camera.
The president grinned a big smile, his white MAGA hat partially covering his puffy, squinted eyes, and his hand loosely pressed together between his knees.
At first, the photo looked like a sweet moment between Trump and his grandchildren. However, once people zoomed in, the picture-perfect moment began unraveling.

According to one onlooker, the list of issues went like this: “Hoo boy…. just for starters…. Weird AF thing in front of SUV. Weird AF stance of kid’s leg behind chair leg.”
They also noticed the “Weird AF remnant of something behind kid. Weird AF ceiling/backdrop setup. Weird AF cap brim melting down his face.”
A white sneaker also peeked out from behind Eric Luke’s leg. Yet the image shows only Trump and the two children. “Pretty sure they belong to the disembodied head behind the kid. Looks to be bending over,” read a reaction on X.
A second user’s theory stated, “I bet this photo was of the kids and other people and he photoshopped (badly) his dad in the photo.”
Others harped over the fact that “a lot has been removed from behind the three of them,” someone else said, “Good grief, what is happening here.”
Professional photographers and spectators also documented the Republican when he emerged on the Bedminster greens behind the wheel of a golf cart.
Among the candid snapshots was one of him riding with professional golfer Gary Player to Truth Social. It was obvious that a staffer altered the image.
A brutal assessment read, “He smoothed out his boob, shut his gaping pie hole, and gave the other guy enhanced wrinkles. The dumb name on his shirt has to be showing. How fucking stupid.”
AI has been a go-to tool for the administration, which regularly posts odd renderings of Trump and sizzle reels to promote their wins.

The entire scene was laughable for a critic who wrote that Eric was “trying to depict him as a family man.”
Two more people piled on with comments like, “Why work this hard, Eric? Even with the airbrush you’re still not the favorite. Some things AI can’t fix,” and “It takes an entire data center to simulate daddy’s love, Eric.”
The Trump Organization humiliated Eric in June with a bizarre Father’s Day post. It stated that “Eric Trump is not merely the beneficiary of his father’s legacy. He is its keeper, its engine, and its next great chapter.”
People often call Eric the forgotten and least-liked Trump child. The president seemingly forgot his son’s name during an event last year, further fueling the ridicule.
