‘Your Happiness Is So Infectious’: Ciara Uploads Michael Jackson Tribute, and Fans Eat Up the Performance
Ciara took to Instagram on Jan. 23 to pay tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson by imitating his classic dance moves to his 1991 chart-topping song “Remember the Time.”
The singer — who is dressed in a white bathrobe — swayed effortlessly around the room while singing along to the hit. She captioned the post, “Woke up and felt like Groovin a little #Saturday#Dance#MJ.” Although Ciara received rave reviews for the commendation, many people were fascinated by her “bright” aura.
“Your happiness is so infectious”
“Cici can do no wrong beautiful person with a beautiful soul”
“This is the energy of happiness I aspire to have…”
“Her energy is amazingly beautiful ”
“You are always there with joy. Putting smiles on faces and laughter in our throats. ”
While fans mentioned Ciara’s mood, others brought up her ability as a dancer. One wrote about how the 35-year-old is one of the best in the entertainment industry. “Best female dancer, tell me I’m wrong I got time.”
Another said they are always amazed at Ciara’s moves. “She got the whole dance routine down!!! Never get tired of seeing you dance!!.”
An Instagram user pointed out how the entertainer hardly gets recognized as a dancer compared to artists like Chris Bown.”Everyone praises Chris Brown for his dancing, but I’ve always thought you mastered rhythm and dancing closest to MJ the MOST. I truly think @ciara doesn’t get the recognition she deserves because she’s a woman.”
In a 2016 interview, Ciara opened up about her inspiration for dancing. She said, “I’m honestly inspired by the everyday person that goes out and dances. I call it street dance. Honestly, when I grew up, I was never trained to dance. I never took any dance classes, but I was that young girl that had big dreams. I really really loved dancing clearly, it’s a big part of what I do. My inspiration comes from street dancing.”
